Newberry Land Stewards Score Big with Rapid RV Removal Grant 

June 2025 -The Newberry Country Land Stewards successfully completed their second major cleanup of the year. This large-scale effort saw over 30 dedicated volunteers, with additional vital assistance from our neighbors, the Public Land Stewards. We’re especially grateful to April McDaniel for her generous donation of gloves and trash bags, which were essential for the cleanup. La Pine Figaros provided a delicious lunch, and we were graciously hosted by Legend Cider in La Pine. May 10, 2025 La Pine, Oregon – Today, the La Pine community came together in a powerful display of unity and dedication, achieving remarkable success in a large-scale cleanup effort. The transformation of a blighted area was made possible by the incredible efforts of sixty volunteers, ranging in age from 6 to 81, the unwavering support of local businesses, and the tireless work of the Newberry Country Land Stewards Action Team.
