UPCOMING WORKSHOP
The Live Well La Pine group is excited to announce an upcoming workshop on Tuesday, June 3rd, from noon to 1 pm at the Deschutes Public Library in La Pine, led by Lisa Sjoblom from the Deschutes Public Library:
This session will offer valuable tips and an overview of the grant-seeking process for nonprofits. It will cover how to identify potential funding sources from foundations, corporations, and grantmaking public charities. Lisa will highlight both electronic and print resources available for free through the Deschutes Public Library, including a demonstration of the Foundation Directory Online, a premier database with information on over 140,000 grant makers and more than 5 million grant records.
This workshop was organized in response to a need identified during our Food Systems meeting last February. We are thrilled to have Lisa join us and support our efforts to build capacity through grants and funding opportunities.
