Education – principally K-12 education, but also access to occupational education and life long learning. Much rural education has moved to regional centers, a trend offset to some extent by development of charter schools and greater use of the internet to access classes. The Institute is very supportive of small schools and communities that wish to keep theirs and provides assistance grants to communities and organizations with that goal.
