Live Well La Pine to Host Community Volunteer Fair on May 30
LA PINE, OR — Live Well La Pine, an action team of the Newberry Regional Partnership, is excited to host a Volunteer Fair on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12:00–2:00 p.m. at the La Pine Library at 16405 1st Street.
This community-focused event is designed to connect local residents with meaningful volunteer opportunities while helping nonprofit organizations recruit much-needed support. Attendees will have the chance to meet with a variety of organizations, learn about local initiatives, and find ways to make a real impact in South Deschutes County.
“We’re looking forward to bringing people together around service,” said event organizer Rya Fennewald. “Whether you’re hoping to give back, meet others, or get involved in your community, there will be something here for everyone.”
Live Well La Pine is currently seeking five additional nonprofit organizations to participate in the fair. Organizations that rely on volunteers are encouraged to apply soon to secure a spot.
