Arts and Culture – principally the many forms of art (music, visual arts, performing arts) and entertainment (movie theatre, rodeo, recreation), but also cultural elements such as museums, special historical places, and periodic events/celebrations such as rodeos and cultural fests. Arts and culture often are place based and are unique to the community, often a reflection of its history and a component of the economy. Many Institute assistance grants go to build the capacity of organizations in this category.
