We are grateful for the active participation of our community members. Your insights and suggestions will be instrumental as we all work together with our partners to implement effective solutions and ensure the safety and well-being of all residents in Newberry Country.
The goal of our Darlene 3 – Seeking Solutions community meeting was to provide a space for community members and leaders from various agencies around Deschutes County to come together to hear problems and create solutions for our community. The notes are highlighted to show where attendees shared their ideas for potential short and long-term solutions.

We want to acknowledge that this is a work in progress. We are compiling the many suggestions and continuing to find ways to integrate them into our proposed work. Don’t forget to vote in our Strategic Action Plan poll! It will allow us to make sure your voices are continuing to be included in our process.
Together, we can build a safer and more resilient Newberry Country for generations to come.
